This Cybersecurity & Data Protection section forms part of the WEBX Privacy Policy and applies to all users worldwide.
Cybersecurity Commitment
WEBX recognizes the critical importance of cybersecurity and data protection. We are committed to implementing reasonable, industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Our cybersecurity measures may include, but are not limited to:
• Network firewalls and intrusion prevention systems
• Data encryption (where applicable)
• Access control mechanisms
• Monitoring and logging of system activity
• Incident detection and response procedures
WEBX accepts responsibility for maintaining and managing its cybersecurity infrastructure within reasonable commercial and technical limits.
Limitations of Cybersecurity Protections
Despite our best efforts, no system, network, or platform can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You acknowledge and agree that WEBX shall not be held liable for security incidents or data breaches caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• State-sponsored cyber attacks or cyber warfare
• Zero-day vulnerabilities or unknown exploits
• Global internet failures or backbone disruptions
• Force majeure events (war, natural disasters, government actions)
• Failures of third-party infrastructure, data centers, or software providers
WEBX shall not be considered negligent where reasonable security practices were in place at the time of the incident.
User Responsibility & Shared Security
While WEBX maintains platform-level cybersecurity, users are responsible for:
• Securing their login credentials
• Using strong passwords and access controls
• Protecting their devices and local systems
• Keeping their applications and scripts updated
• Maintaining independent backups of their data
WEBX is not responsible for data loss or compromise resulting from user-side security failures.
Data Storage & International Transfers
User data may be stored, processed, or transmitted across multiple countries and jurisdictions. By using WEBX, you explicitly consent to international data transfers, including to regions with different data protection laws than your country of residence.
Incident Response & Notification
In the event of a confirmed security incident affecting WEBX systems, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain, and mitigate the impact. Where required by applicable law, WEBX may notify affected users or authorities within legally mandated timeframes.
No Absolute Warranty
WEBX does not guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted protection. Cybersecurity services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Policy Updates
This Cybersecurity & Data Protection section may be updated periodically to reflect changes in technology, law, or operational practices. Continued use of WEBX services constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
